This is a fascinatingly beautiful story about a love filled relationship between a White-tailed Deer and his two human guardian friends. Natural Resource Authorities allows us as well as a few other people to raise and rehabilitate orphaned wild animals. Deer are one of our favourites. Within a week or two of watched care, they are allowed to come and go as they wish. Their only confinement is their bonding with us. It is always difficult when our wild friends decide to leave and join their own kin, but this is as it should be. If we lose a little one for some reason or other it is very sad, but we must realize that they are already in trouble when ge get them. However, each successful attempt to give a young wild animal a second chance at life is a wonderful and satisfying reward. It is not our intention to condone or condemn ethical, well managed hunting. |
